I have traveled a lot around the world and learned from top chefs and benefited enormously. On one of the trips I met my wife, who, like me, also works in the restaurant business and therefore has a lot of understanding for my profession.
And why Vilotel?
With the birth of our first child, you look for a nest. Searched and found. I came across the VILOTEL through an attractive ad. My presentation plea was that I would like to bring my accumulated knowledge of star cuisine with passion to the plate and cook top-notch. Thus the contract was signed and with bag and baggage it went from at that time Franconia to Baden-Wuerttemberg Oberkochen. In the construction container it was still about the kitchen optimization, suppliers stake out, menus design, hire employees - it was despite without a stove not a day boring, but a perfect preparation until the opening.
In the meantime I have 2 boys who keep one quite busy. In my free time I prefer to be with my family and support my wife. We regularly try to visit our families who don't live quite around the corner. And when time permits, I climb mountains with Olaf, who has become not only my colleague but also a good friend.
